Best of Bosque workshop with Christopher Dodds

Based in Homer, Alaska, we will be making two daily action-filled excursions (weather permitting) to photograph the Eagles; and lots of them. We will photograph Eagles in-flight, fishing, diving, fighting from land and boat, from near and far.
Our trip is timed to offer a fair mix of Alaskan weather; we hope for a fair mix of everything from sun to snow, hot and cold. I have been to Homer in March for years, and Mother Nature has never disappointed me.
Who should attend: This workshop is highly recommended for any level photographer. Whether you are entirely new to nature photography, an experienced amateur, or a seasoned pro, there will be something to photograph, and we will have plenty of time to tailor your instruction to your abilities. The seasoned pro can fully utilize the logistics, my site and subject knowledge.
What's included: Five days of in-the-field photographic instruction and an introductory slideshow/information session the evening before the workshop. Two daily boat trips (weather permitting) on each of the five days onto the picturesque Katchemack Bay, including all related expenses except crew tips, and an experienced captain in a Coast Guard Certified vessel. If the light is right and we want to stay out - we will. If the weather changes and we want to head back - we will. The idea is to bring home a portfolio of exceptional images, so we will be flexible and even try to make up for any boat time lost due to weather from one day to the next. I have been teaching Eagle workshops in Homer for years, so I know how to find many Eagles.
What's NOT Included:
Price does NOT include transportation to Homer, Alaska, meals, beverages, souvenirs or other items of a personal nature or local ground transportation during the workshop. Accommodations are not included, but I have a block of rooms reserved at a reasonable price. Rental Car is not included but is highly recommended for those who want to photograph during mid-day or during meal breaks. Ground transfer from the airport to Land's End Resort is not included.
